I know what it’s like to look in the mirror and think, this isn’t who I used to be.
In my late forties, I felt tired, unfocused, and more out of shape than I wanted to admit. My joints ached, my sleep deteriorated, and my mood dipped. Nothing felt dramatic enough to call a crisis, but nothing felt right either.
I believed I was doing the right things. I ate a plant-heavy diet, moved more, and tried to manage stress. On paper it made sense. In practice, it wasn’t supporting my body at all.
